Originally a Holiday Inn of the 1970’s the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport was rebranded and designed to fly the Crowne Plaza flag. The public space renovation included transforming a 30,000sq ft. disco into a new entry, lobby, staff offices, and reception area. Functional spaces were created for meeting rooms and a business center separate from the main atrium. The immense atrium was reconfigured to include space for the business traveler to work, meet colleagues, and socialize in the added lounge. Particular attention was paid to the lighting which moves from soft ambient light from large suspended drum pendants to moody night time lighting that sets the scene to relax.
